Not So Gay Friendly Hotels Koh Samui
In the past most hotels in Thailand have had a rather relaxed attitude to the sexual orientation or activities of their guests - as long as these did not impact on the enjoyment of other guests. Though it now seems some places are not so happy to have gay guests.
It has been brought to our attention either directly by hotel representatives themselves or by guests or potential guests that the following hotels claim that they do not "market or promote to particular market segments" (what does that mean exactly? We would imagine all hotels have target markets...)
or "they feel that gay guests would not be compatible with their "regular" cliental" (hmmmm!!!)
Though they do not state outright "no gays allowed" and we are sure you wouldn't have a bad time at these hotels - we will leave it to you to read between the lines.
